On Wednesday, December 1, we celebrated the first Focus Group of the InnoEcoTur project, organized at the University of Alicante in collaboration with the Polytechnic University of Valencia, a milestone for the project. The research team has decided to use this research technique which consists, in a very summarized way, in generating a debate in a small group of participants about certain topics of interest, with a mediator.

The dynamic, in which participated six agents of interest from the Hospitality and Food Sector in the province of Alicante, extended for about 90 minutes, resulting in an enriching experience for all attendees and highlighted several aspects of the circular economy and sustainability in the Tourism Sector based on the testimonies and opinions of the participants, whom we sincerely thank for their collaboration:

The research team continues working on gathering information on the needs of the sector and it is planned to hold two more focus groups within 2021 in Castellón and Valencia, as well as hold new meetings with various stakeholders within the first quarter of 2022.
