At Lab Hot-EC, we are creating a self-diagnostic tool of circularity for Hotels that has 3 levels:

1. BASIC
2. INTERMEDIATE
3. ADVANCED

This tool aims to enable hotels to self-assess their circularity level and develop an action plan to improve their circularity.

In this first phase , the basic self-assessment tool is presented, including the five priority areas:

This tool has been developed by Law 3/2022, of 15 June, on urgent measures for the sustainability and circularity of tourism in the Balearic Islands. It incorporates additional indicators that allow an initial assessment of the circularity of the hotel to be made. It also proposes a series of Good Practices that hotels can include in their circularity plans based on the self-diagnosis results.
