La cerveza Mahou San Miguel elimin\u00f3 en el 2020 el pl\u00e1stico de los envases y embalajes de m\u00e1s de 12 referencias y agrupaciones de productos diferentes a sus principales marcas: Mahou, San Miguel y Alhambra. De este modo, se han reemplazado los retr\u00e1ctiles pl\u00e1sticos por cajas de cart\u00f3n biodegradables y se han sustituido las anillas de pl\u00e1stico que sujetan las latas por una versi\u00f3n de cart\u00f3n procedente de bosques gestionados de manera sostenible. Este proyecto ha logrado reducir m\u00e1s de 90 toneladas de pl\u00e1stico al a\u00f1o y un 40% de energ\u00eda el\u00e9ctrica en el empaquetado de latas.<\/p>\n

Objetivos:<\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. Reducir al m\u00e1ximo el impacto medioambiental de los envases asegurando siempre la calidad y la seguridad de nuestros productos.<\/li>\n
  2. Reducir el peso de los envases, garantizando que sean 100 % reutilizables y\/o reciclables.<\/li>\n
  3. Eliminar el 100 % del pl\u00e1stico virgen para 2030, reduciendo m\u00e1s de un 60 % su uso en 2025.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n
