El Reglamento sustituye a la actual Directiva sobre Dise\u00f1o Ecol\u00f3gico y ampl\u00eda su \u00e1mbito de aplicaci\u00f3n, m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de los productos energ\u00e9ticos, a todo tipo de bienes comercializados en el mercado de la UE. Este es el \u00faltimo paso del procedimiento decisorio.<\/p>\n<h2>Requisitos ecol\u00f3gicos para productos sostenibles<\/h2>\n<p>El <a href=\"https:\/\/data.consilium.europa.eu\/doc\/document\/ST-7854-2022-INIT\/es\/pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Reglamento<\/a> afecta a todo tipo de productos, con pocas excepciones (es decir, autom\u00f3viles o productos relacionados con la defensa y la seguridad). El nuevo Reglamento introduce nuevos requisitos, como la durabilidad, la reutilizabilidad, la actualizabilidad y la reparabilidad de los productos, y normas sobre la presencia de sustancias que impiden la circularidad; la eficiencia en el uso de la energ\u00eda y de los recursos, el contenido reciclado, la refabricaci\u00f3n y el reciclado; la huella de carbono y la huella ambiental; y requisitos de informaci\u00f3n, en particular un pasaporte digital del producto. La Comisi\u00f3n estar\u00e1 facultada para establecer requisitos de dise\u00f1o ecol\u00f3gico mediante actos delegados y la industria dispondr\u00e1 de dieciocho meses para cumplirlos.<\/p>\n<p>Los criterios de dise\u00f1o ecol\u00f3gico ser\u00e1n aplicables en la contrataci\u00f3n p\u00fablica para incentivar la adquisici\u00f3n p\u00fablica de productos ecol\u00f3gicos. El nuevo Reglamento introduce una prohibici\u00f3n directa de la destrucci\u00f3n de productos textiles y calzado no vendidos (se excluir\u00e1 temporalmente a las pymes) y faculta a la Comisi\u00f3n para introducir en el futuro prohibiciones similares relacionadas con otros productos.
